There used to be similar signs in Idaho -- 2-lane highway with many 1-lane bridges, which I hope now are 2-lane bridges since that was a while ago. Dave, you could check it out the next time you're in Ketchum by taking the beautiful drive to Stanley. (I don't think we met a single car on the Stanley side of the pass.)

This is a rather useless sign. There was no information at all on how to dodge a vehicle coming at you in the center of the road.

I've driven in rural Scotland, and many of those roads only have a middle. No left or right lane. I've been on bigger bike paths.

I've also driven in Scotland, and the middle of the road is usually occupied by a sheep. Sometimes a cow...
