And the Indonesian teen who actually made the thing might see 87 cents of that.

The only way I'd pay this much for a shoe is if it had actual moon dust on the sole.

Actually, Toronto already has a real moon shoe, from the Apollo project I think, in the Bata Shoe Museum. Which is worth a visit if you are ever this way. I don't know whether the town is big enough for two shoe museums.
