I've seen people walking around eating grapes, crackers, and drinking cokes while shopping but never a cake. This is a new level of weird even for Walmart. It's just a matter of time before they start weighing people before they're allowed in the store.

We have all heard the old saw: "You can't have your cake and eat it, too."

This woman added. "What's the point of having a cake if you can't eat it?"

Texas full of sheet cake.

Seriously, people help themselves to this and that all the time in big box stores, then leave the empties on a shelf someplace. Then there's the people who take a bottle of mouthwash into the john, drink it and leave the empty bottle there. The general pilfering is on top of this.

Sometimes when I leave a restaurant I risk it all by taking two toothpicks instead of the customary one toothpick from the cashier area.

man tom, you're a true rebel. Shame!

I'm sitting here at my desk with the evidence.

man tom-- We appreciate your demonstrating for our freedom; "Give us toothpicks or else," is a great slogan!

I have a number of friends in Wichita Falls. It used to be a pretty straightforward, reasonable, if somewhat unattractive town. Somehow it's gone completely nuts.

I blame the proximity to Oklahoma.
