MAYBE THEY THOUGHT POLAR BEARS ATE PURINA POLAR BEAR CHOW

Polar bear eats a live duck at San Diego Zoo — and freaks visitors out

He's lucky; most places require advanced orders for duck.

("You're DISSSS-PICABLE!")

I hope at least one of the people watching this tossed the bear some orange sauce. That polar bear should be able to enjoy a good duck dinner.

As a dedicated carnivore myself, I give this predation a 10.0 score. Maximum style points.

At my local Walmart the Purina Polar Bear Chow is on the shelf next to the Purina Black Bear Chow.

Duck frosting works.

A woman complained that the Duck Incident left her 3 year-old daughter upset.

Counter-point: Madam, not as upset as you would be had the polar bear eaten your 3 year-old daughter.

What MOTW said.

Just wait until mating season.

Maybe it's a bipolar bear.

Would the visitors have been less freaked out if the Polar Bear had taken a baby seal, as they frequently do in the wild?

Reminds me of when I took my Ex- to Sea World. There was a place where you could feed the dolphins. Ex- asked me to go get some dolphin food so she could feed them. I got the food, brought it back to Ex-, who exclaimed in a voice loud enough for everyone to hear, "YOU MEAN I HAVE TO GIVE THEM FISH!!?!! ICK!!!"

If the duck had eaten a chicken first, we could have had some fine bearducken.
