Here's the pitch for Bond 26, Ms. Broccoli -- Goldfinger meets Moonraker. We can call it, um, Moonfinger.

An old man insists on putting his gold bars in a suitcase in his coffin. He dies and shows up at the Pearly Gates with the suitcase. St. Peter tells him he can't bring anything in, but the man asks for a dispensation. St. Peter goes off to check and finds the man has live an exemplary life, so its OK, but St. Peter has to check the contents. "You brought pavement?"

Dragging a giant, heavy asteroid directly to the Earth. What could possibly go wrong?

I have worked in mineral exploration for 40 years. I wouldn't hold off on that mortgage payment. The costs of bringing that asteroid to where it is even possible to mine (and refine) the ore will be--pun intended---astronomical.
And the lawyers haven't even started filing suits yet. In mining history, lawyers have always made the most money. If the USA can claim it, China, Russia and a host of other countries can claim a piece of the action.
We'll have flying cars before asteroid mining becomes profitable.
