Psyche 16 opened for Feral Chicken Terror. Or was it the other way around?

An old man insists on putting his gold bars in a suitcase in his coffin. He dies and shows up at the Pearly Gates with the suitcase. Dragging a giant, heavy asteroid directly to the Earth. What could possibly go wrong?

I have worked in mineral exploration for 40 years. I wouldn't hold off on that mortgage payment. The costs of bringing that asteroid to where it is even possible to mine (and refine) the ore will be--pun intended---astronomical.
And the lawyers haven't even started filing suits yet. In mining history, lawyers have always made the most money. If the USA can claim it, China, Russia and a host of other countries can claim a piece of the action.
We'll have flying cars before asteroid mining becomes profitable.
