IDAHO THEATER UPDATE

A groundskeeper at the Idaho Shakespeare Festival shooed the black bear away Wednesday after it made its way onto the festival's grounds off Warm Springs Avenue late Wednesday afternoon.

The groundskeeper simply walked up to the bear waving his arms and saying "shoo bear." The bear went away.

Actually, it was much ado about nothing.

"Nature teaches beasts to know their friends."

(Coriolanus, act 2, scene 1, line 6)

They were performing 'The Winters Tale' and the bear was just waiting for his cue:

- Exit, pursued by a bear

(Act 3, Scene 3)

”Last seen heading east on Idaho 21,” no doubt after producing a valid Florida driver’s license.

To bear or not to bear .. this would make naked Shakespeare more interesting.
