Y'know, Dave should just hang out at the Flathead County sheriff's office for a week. His next book would pretty much write itself.

But wait, there’s more!
”3:16 a.m. A Libby man found a social security card.
12:10 p.m. A Libby woman said someone stole her phone while she was taking a nap.
6:03 p.m. A Libby man was complaining about all the trash in an area parking lot.”

Weirder still, Libby isn't even in Flathead County. It's actually about a 50 mile drive from there to the Flathead County line.

8:48 A.M.--A Libby resident said something mysterious fell down her chimney.
9:27 A.M.--A Libby man had information on two crimes: The theft of millions of dollars and some kind of bomb.
Making a connection here, the lady that had "something mysterious" fall down her chimney should call the bomb squad, especially if she works at a bank.

Little known fact: despite it's name, the town is actually fairly conservative.

Apparently, Libby MT is not as formal as Liberal KS...

The million dollar crime reminded me of the "bustling metropolis" Dime Box Texas bank robbery that netted $3 million on Walker, Texas Ranger the TV show.
