Horse in the bed of pick-up truck going 70 MPH on Texas highway

(Thanks to Jeff Meyerson, who notes that “the horse was released after producing a valid Florida driver’s license.”)

"Is there a problem, officer?"

If this had happened about 150 west, I'd swear it was a woman who works for me. She's the type who'd do that.

And it felt good to get out of the rain.

wanderer2575--You are right about getting out of the rain.

When you are hauling a horse with no name
Across the barren Texas plain
Where you can't remember your name
'Cause you ain't feelin' no pain
The last thing you want is rain

Besides everyone having an unrestricted valid FL driver's license, alcohol and carrots were involved.

At least he didn't forget it.

Of course, of course.

The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plane.

Someone told him he needed more horsepower.

Someone reported the horse saying,
"Wheeeeeheeheehee!" all the way home.

After years of captivity, Mister Ed finally makes good on his escape from Wilbur's insipid yacking and his drafty stable with it's empty feed bags.

WIL - BUR!!!!!!

The points of this story are -

“there isn't anything technically illegal about the way the horse was transported. “

“According to police, the horse is extremely well-trained worth $15,000.”

So the horse must be well trained to ride in the open bed of a pickup truck at 70 MPH.
