That's a harmless corn snake. I had one as a pet 40 years ago in Connecticut. Luckily I didn't have a dryer. Now Safety Harbor is the next town over from me, and I do have a dryer. I'll be on the lookout...

I hate snakes but if one wanted to come in and do my laundry I'd probably be okay with it. I've heard they're great at folding fitted sheets.
