Vulcan Town council supports placing Klingon Bird of Prey model in town

The Klingon Bird of Prey model will get visitors across the railway tracks, said Wisener. “So, when people come to see the Enterprise, they’ll come see the Bird of Prey,” he said.

The city of Akron, Ohio used to have a professional football team called the Vulcans. Time was you could buy a beer called "Vulcan" too. Didn't need no spaceships to know we were weird.

I know the place, it is about 50 miles south of Calgary. It is a small town located in the middle of the prairies and large farms.
They have the statue of the Enterprise, now this, so cow tipping will not be the biggest attraction for the local youths any more.

Qaz--Now the local youths can quit tipping cows and focus their energies on building functional phasers to fight off the Klingons.

Is there a joke about our favorite planet in there somewhere?
