WHY?!! WHY did she cut off their tails with a carving knife?

The relieved mum said: “They have agreed to call me and run a volume test to make sure it won’t be disturbing me any more.

That's all and good, but what about the goof who bumped his head in the song? Where is the justice, I ask?

[The album will be available soon, and we hear it will be called "Susan Boyle, the early early years."]

What, they didn't use Manilow records as a repellant?

A tape loop of "Looks Like We Made It" would have put every sentient being, including the spiders, on the run in no time.

Seriously, Manilow would have been more effective.

In fact, if they played Nickelback, or Some early Alice Cooper stuff.....

Sometimes I imagine I hear little tinkly bells playing " Camptown Ladies ". Then an ice cream truck drives by.

Headline touts beneficial side effect of crack usage.

I understand "Itsy-Bitsy Spider" is Michelle Duggar's favorite song. But only the part about being up the spout again.

Anything by Katie Perry hitting a big note would scare me off.

Playing "Itsy Bitty Spider" seems as French as farting in their general direction. Wouldn't a rousing rendition of "Attack of the Rottweilers" be a more effective repellent?

"Attack of the Rottweilers"...

Isn't that something like "Ride of the Valkyries", only done with vicious barking/growling noises?

@fractalist---If we could get Kinky Friedman to add lyrics to "Ride of the Valkyries," It would certainly make music history.

Le Pet - even better would be Shel Silverstein. (R.I.P.)

You call that a spider web? This is a spider web!
