" Bismarck's "throwing of missiles" statute "
Sayonara baseball.

It had it coming. It was a squirrel.

I hate it when people are mean to any animal. It's too bad the squirrel couldn't throw a dart back at him.
However, if he does go to jail for this if anyone asks him what's he's in for he should probably just say "murder" and leave the squirrel part out of it.

WHAT! Throwing rocks was the number two thing we did as kids. The number one thing was finding rocks to throw.
Waitin' for the Geezer bus.

"Your Honor, I had some friends coming over to play darts. I had one in my hand when this berserk, suicidal squirrel jumped on it. It all happened so fast I couldn't stop that cute squirrel from doing itself in."

Could've been worse. We used to have lawn darts.

nursecindy, what if it wasn't premeditated and he gets the lesser charge of squirrel-slaughter?

"And then he ran into my knife.
He ran into my knife ten times!
If you'd have been there,
If you'd have seen it,
I betcha you would have done the same!"
(the six merry murderesses of the Cook County Jail, "Chicago")

If they get a jury of the squirrel's peers the guy is in big trouble.

And stay off of his law... fence.

Because evidently all major crime in Bismarck has been eliminated, and the city attorney's office has nothing to do.
(Didums hurt the poor tree rat?..)

I guess that I'm an outlier, but I feel badly for the poor squirrel. Animal cruelty always bothers me.
