So if my jeans are 25 years old they're worth $20,000 Did I get the math right?

Some years ago a geologist friend found an old pair of Levis hanging on a nail inside a long caved mine they had just opened. This was in Arizona and the dry climate had preserved them perfectly. He donated them to a historical society that dated them from the 1890's. It never occurred to him to sell them. He just joked that "somebody lost their pants in that mine."
