We saw one standing on the shoulder of I-287 in New Jersey yesterday. Said a little prayer for him, knowing he wasn't long for the world.

As God is my witness...

Two toms have been displaying, gobbling, and chasing hens around my house this week. I have a sign on the door that says "No Solicitors," but they ignore it.

The government needs to set strict rules for sending turkeygrams.

I think they're trying to get away from Plymouth and that whole Pilgrim/Thanksgiving thing, seeing that they're only 20 miles from the rock and all.

State Police Lt. Tom Ryan said the 60-year-old Falmouth woman was traveling westbound on Route 25 at 7:30 a.m. when the turkey flew into her windshield with enough force in the collision to crash through it.

I'd be pretty Falmouthed, too, if this happened to my windshield.
