This is the perfect case to justify why the 98 year old Penn State Outing Club can no longer go outside.

This is why we need background checks for rubber cobra buyers.

I don't care if it is a rubber snake. Kill it, kill it, kill it!

Either nursecindy didn't take the
Hippocratic Oath or it does not cover reptiles.

So, snakes are evolving- now they can "rubberize" themselves. Are the Florida Pythons doing this, too?

When my mom passed away, I was cleaning out her car to sell it. On the front dash and back seat, there were rubber snakes. I thought it was weird, but since she wasn't around to ask, I let it go.
The apartment manager helped me sell it and she asked me if I had found the rubber snakes.
Well, yeah. They were hard to miss. What the hey?
She told me that my mom put them there to keep birds from pooping on her car. And come to think of it, there wasn't any bird poop on the car.
The manager also told me another side of the story: that a resident complained that my mom was using the rubber snakes to put some sort of hex on her because she had complained about my mom.
And I thought my mom probably would have liked to poke at a neighbor that way.
It made me smile.

C. Robbin. There is such a beast as a "rubber boa". Found in Northwest USA and Canada.

LeDud--- I have encountered rubber boas examining old gold mines in Oregon. The miners like to take them home for kids pets. I found out they never bite a human under any circumstances.
Personally, I'll stick with a cat for a pet.

My brother caught a Rubber Boa, brought it home for the Kids and put it in a terrarium from whence it promtly escaped.
As far as I know, he is still sleeping on the couch, but it hasn't even been a year yet...

We saw Rubber Snake open for Whitesnake back in the mists of time. Hard to believe, but it didn't go well. Who coulda thought?
