This shouldn't have happened. The Canadian helicopter pilot and crew were on instruments.

This doesn't happen in Canada, so clearly the problem was caused by the Florida climate and its consequences. Like alligators or Palmetto Bugs chewing through the straps.

Is there no place in or closer to Canada for them to practice? Is this a boondoggle trip to Miami? Next thing we're going to be reading about them getting fleeced by hookers and strippers at clubs in South Beach.
