Sky high rat
Sky high rat
How high can you fly?
You'll never, never, never reach the sky

Coincidentally, your flight attendants will be taking dinner orders soon.

If he was seen entering the cockpit, are we sure he wasn't the co-pilot?

But I wanna know for sure
Come on and hold me tight

Insert Sam Jackson quote variation here>>>

If he'd been a well behaved rodent would they still have canceled the flight?

Carry on my wayward rodent
There'll be peas when you are done
Lay your ratty head to rest
Don't you cry no more

MOTW beat me to the lyric. And did it better.

I don’t blame the rat. Was the flight connecting to Vegas?

wanderer2575 has it nailed. Airlines always hate it when the inflight meal escapes.

Isn't this how the plague spread thru out Europe ?

A few snakes should take care of the problem. What could go wrong?

So no Rat-a-tuille today? I was looking forward to this dish.

Key quote:

" “An Alaska Airlines aircraft departing Oakland International Airport was cancelled today due to reports of a mouse in the cockpit of the aircraft,” Taylor said in an email. “The flight’s 110 passengers are being accommodated as appropriate by Alaska Airlines flights from San Francisco and San Jose airports.”

Alaska Airlines released a statement calling the stowaway rodent a rat, saying it was spotted around 8:30 a.m."

If they can't tell the difference between a mouse and a rat, perhaps they shouldn't be flying aircraft.

Maybe a wayward rodent is a euphemism for a female rodent in the family way (also a euphemism). I could euphemize for hours.

@fractalist - you'll go blind doing that.

I was on a flight with Wayward Rodent once, and they gave him a complimentary upgrade to first class.
