My commute end so with walking through a corner in Chicago where the State of Illinois building, city hall/county hall, and the court building converge with a clear satellite line of sight. We have multiple camera crews at the corner every week.
I suggested to a local hip morning show that playing “Name that National Anthem” during other shows’ live standup segments would be fun.
Could the camera crew ask for a redo?

[Driver, to passengers] "Hey, we're on TV! Wave, everybody! Hey, De-Wayne!!!"
Okay, movin' on. Don't wanna be late again..."

What's the problem. It was a great pic of a bus.

Were they on that side of the street to get the "crowd" shot?

Big deal, magicians do that every day

I watched it on a local channel and their camera was in a better spot. Even so, this was not a spectacular implosion. The bus didn't cause them to miss much.

Hey, wasn't that the Geezer bus?

Wolfsong- It wasn't our Geezer Acres bus. Ours is a pretty white with red stripes. There's curtains on the windows and shiny wheels. It looks like a big Tylenol.

I had a similar thing happen to me when the first space shuttle landed at Edwards AFB back in 1981. I arrived at the freezing cold dry lake 5 hours before sunrise, in order to get a prime viewing spot. 30 seconds before landing, a very large fire truck pulled up against the security line, and my view was blocked for the entire landing.
"Carpenter words" were then exchanged with the driver of the firetruck.

"Did I pass the audition?"--reportedly (but unconfirmed) said by the Marta bus driver.
