Oops

That’s the price of freedom in Christ

They did not consult the Holy Book of Armaments Chapter 321.

"Thou shalt remove thy Holy Ruger, which thy hast purchased to blow thine enemies into tiny bits from it's holster. Before thou shalt pull the trigger on thine Holy Ruger, thou must check not once, not three times shall thy check that no Holy Bullets remain in the chamber, but two times must the number thy check and the number of times thou must check shall be two."

There is some good advice in that book.

Thoughts and prayers ....

"It's not loaded" ranks right up there with "Hold my beer and watch this" with phrases that precede disaster.

My father, now deceased, once showed me a cheaply made little pistol he bought from "some guy in a parking lot". (Incidentally, this was the first sign of dementia I noticed) He told me how he was going to shoot burglars with it. When he wasn't looking I removed the firing pin so he couldn't hurt himself or others. He happily carried that stupid paperweight around for years afterward. Probably pulled the trigger more than once.

Clearly he needs to enroll in nursecindy's "How to tell if your gun is or isn't loaded (it is!), moron" course.

The shooter can now be a vice president.

"Why is Grandpa sleeping on the couch?"
