A former administrative assistant to an Arkansas county official has pleaded guilty to fraudulent use of a credit card after prosecutors accused her of using public money to buy personal items, including a tuxedo for her pet pug.

Was it a last minute wedding invite? Was the pug her plus one? Why the "last minute emergency"? Inquiring minds, etc.

Isn't stuff like that supposed to be paid from the incoming bribe jar?

When I first read the text under the headline that links to the article, I thought it said "pet pig"... and I was glad this woman wasn't from Iowa, where live. Plenty of embarrassing news comes out of this state as it is. And, we have lots of pigs.

You can only use taxpayer money for lipstick on a pug.
