Modern life is making Americans constipated: Western diets and desk jobs are slowing down everyone's bowel movements

It could also be OIC, Opioid Induced Constipation. I know these things, I watch TV.

I customarily don't pay any attention to TV commercials but when the subject is poop I watch to see if there is something to giggle at. The one you refer to has a handsome man talking about how he couldn't poop and his doctor made a lame joke and he says (in reference to the joke) "and that was my Movantic moment." Now I'm looking for opportunities to say "and that was my Movantic moment" in like a staff meeting or something. Or right after a big fart.

Send 'em to Washington, "where the crap runs free".

There are some people who simply don't give a sh!t.

One word. Colace.

@nursecindy- and let's not forget the wonders of okra.

To say nothing of handicap-accessible toilets that are too tall to get one's intestines in shape.

"Here I sit, staring at my phone,
In this stall, quite all alone.
And much to my own consternation,
I curse my utter constipation.
Perchance that I might pass a log
While checking out Dave Barry's blog."

So...we are all full of it and the cure is turning Japanese? i really think so.

Actually the best laxative in the world is about 10 pieces of any type of sugar free chocolate. Trust me and stay away from the sugar free Reeses Cups.
Great poem Stixmstonz. The only thing I can come up with is:
Here I sit broken hearted.
Thought I'd s***,
but only farted.
Y'all didn't know I was so classy did you?

I'm sure this is only a temporary thing. The movement will eventually pass.

Watch the evening news. You'll be cured instantly.

The global opioid induced constipation drugs market by dosage form of the drug (solid, semi-solid, liquid), and drug classes (Mu opioid receptor antagonist, chloride channel activator) is estimated to reach $2.8 Billion in 2021, growing at a CAGR of over 25% from 2017 to 2021, according to a market research report published by iHealthcareAnalyst, Inc.
