I asked if the motorized scooters at my in-laws' complex could be souped up and raced down hallways. The next day, guidelines were issued to prevent what could have been a death defying event.
I considered it to be corrupting the young at heart.
Next corruption: a scooter chop shop.

I thought wheelie contests with a motorized wheelchair, mobility scooter or a golf cart was a common event in Florida retirement communities. Have I been misinformed?
