IN A BOLD ATTEMPT TO MAKE BRITISH FOOD EVEN MORE INEDIBLE

A pie firm has launched a cricket pie ahead of British Pie Week.

On a taster note;
HAPPY OREO COOKIE DAY!

I need a "pie launcher". That would be fun to launch cream pies at my neighbors.

This makes me long for the good old days of haggis.

Last year the big thrill was a pie that was launched into space on a weather balloon with a camera.

I would not mind crickets if they were ground up Into the flour or with a bit of hot sauce. I would especially enjoy incorporating crickets into Jello mold to sneak into the local stake potluck.

But cricket is their national sport, so the pie must be as bad as that.

They're holding back. Silverfish breed like rabbits.

By the way - are the crickets dead? If they were live eating that pie would be very entertaining.

It's not Pi Day until March 14th.

And their slogan is 'we're going to bat for you'

Stick with the tried-and-true Crunchy Frog. (It's gluten-free, I'm sure).

do you want flies with that ?

A chirp off the old block. Rather smashing, I say.

Be careful MTB, you're wandering into ligirl pun territory and there's NO GOING BACK once you're there !

Giant water bug pie just like my dear old mum used to make. Yum.

Hop on the bandwagon. A dessert that will make you jump for joy. Chirping good. Croaked cricket pie is smashingly tasty. MTB made me do it!

bugger!

I'd rather have a grasshopper pie.

Still, it's already one of the better desserts made in the U.K.
