Don't believe it. She may have spiked the dog's food, but if it was weed the dog would lay down and mellow out. Watch how dogs behave, if there's something wrong they are on the ground.

Considering that dogs eat their poop and drink out of the toilet, I'm surprised it had any effect whatsoever.
