IN THAT CASE, SIR, WE SHALL BE ON OUR WAY

Authorities in Florida said a robbery suspect found hiding in a pond told deputies he was "just fishing" and the real robber "went that way."

Key Excerpt: The clerk refused the request, leading the man to flea, the sheriff's office said.

We wonder if the flea also fled.

He swallowed the flea to catch the ... oh hell, editor! Stat!

That old ploy only works in the movies.

Not flea, Flea, the bassist for the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Bugs Bunny could always get Yosemite Sam to fall for this.

And you thought putting worms on a hook was hard, try using a flea....like this guy...

I notice police did not arrest or even question the flea. Maybe the flea had a good alibi....

But the clerk did lead the man to a flea. Maybe the flea fled in one direction, the perp fled in another, totally confusing the cops, editor and readers of this article.

"No one here but us chickens"

Geezer alert

He was only playing flu fly.

Fleas, mister, fleas
Don't play Bee-17

wanderer:
Q: What do you get if you cross a rabbit and a flea ?
A: Bugs Bunny

I shot the sheriff, but I did not shoot the editor.

This is a legal matter.

The flea flead (rhymes with plead [past tense], lead [the heavy metal], dead, Fred, said).

Betrayed by his "Loyalty" tattoo. What the hell tattoo?!
