An escaped emu sent deputies on a wild goose chase after it walked up to a bar in central Florida.

And the bartender said, "Why the long neck?"

I saw Flightless Fugitive open for Modest Mouse.

And when the bartender said, "We don't get many emus in here," the emu said, "At these prices, I'm not surprised!"

Emu walks into a Texas bar---barbeque at eight.

Sounds more like a domesticated emu chase to me.

And it said, "Boy, am i tired. I just flew in from Texas."

The bartender gave it a mohito on the house.

Who's the maroon who sent the deputies looking for a goose instead of the emu?

Wild Goose Chase, I think, is the secret agency code words for the Nov. 8 election.

It was released on recognizance after it was determined that it was not a flight risk.
