I used to do this about 35 years ago in the Society for Creative Anachronism. At one time I could throw a battle-axe and call whether I wanted the blade, the top point, or the back point to stick in the target!

This should help with the overcrowding situation.

"the modern-day bowling"?

Calling Ed Ames.

Gender-transformation surgery continues to evolve.

Maybe we could combine both sports and throw axes at the bowlers?

so you can strike or spare your friends ?

Count me out. I watched Ed Ames show how to throw a tomahawk on Johnny Carson. Not going there, no way.

in bowling terms i believe that's a 'split ', le petomane

Only 1.5 miles from Union Station

This should solve the gun problem.

Clankie -- it the rule is "Flee a knife, charge a gun" I'm not sure where a thrown ax fits in.

So I could legally open business and advertise it as a "chop shop"?

Somehow, I don't think the TV show "Shark Tank" would back that concept.

I'm not sure that "Bad Axe Throwing" is the ideal name for the business.

In this "modern day bowling", a split is the best outcome, then?

isn't anyone gonna axe about the shoes ?

@ligirl: *snork* twice!
