I have used a voice guidance GPS in the car before. Never once did it tell me to drive up a power pole.

My old GPS had a speech defect, it would say 'doctor' instead of 'drive': "Turn right on Smith Doctor.
But it never directed up a pole either.

I smell a lawsuit coming -- from the driver, of course. That's probably why my GPS specifically tells me to make a U-turn "in 400 feet" or "when able."
