BRILLIANT

This city embedded traffic lights in the sidewalks so that smartphone users don’t have to look up

So, not all that smartphones, then?

I can't stand seeing anyone that sees their phone as lifes only necessity.

NOT the 'red light/green light' game I remember

*races for front seat of geezer bus - who's it ?*

A boon for navel-gazers as well.

this might be a good time to make sure your socks are matching; im thinking about you bernie.

I suppose self-driving Segways will be next on the list. The robots will run us.

How would that help? They are looking at screens. Get them an app that tells them when to walk and when to stop.

The only way to get some people to look up is to yell, "DUCK!"

I'd probably put up crossing gates just to watch them run into and flip over them. But, then, I'm evil that way.

Kind of encouraging reverse evolution, don't you think?

Or don't you?

I like the way you think Loudmouth. I almost got into a wreck this weekend because a driver was texting and didn't notice her light had turned red. Fortunately I saw her and she had good brakes on her car. They should have apps on cellphones that make the screen go blank when you're nearing a traffic light.
