I live in the Houston area and avoid all freeways, that one in particular, even in normal traffic. Its a bad mix of 80+ mph and 40- mph. Really dumb move by this guy.

'Sounds like she would have been considering his proposal under considerable duress. His reasoning is also a good clue that she's marrying a narcissist. 'Not to be caught up in other people's business, though for her sake I hope she lets him go.

He shoulda come to L.A. Our roads are clogged by gridlock anyway, so he would have had A.) an appreciative audience and B.) plenty of time for the deed.
