R.I.P. JACK SNIPES

A.k.a. Big Dick, of Big Dick and the Extenders.

Here's a column I wrote years ago, which mentions the band.

Maybe it's better you experienced Big Dick and the Extenders from a distance.

"A 22-year-old train buff stole all 120 tons of CSX Locomotive No. 2617 and ran it seven miles down the tracks to park behind the bar."
No one would do that for the RBR's!

Rock and roll will never die... but culturally speaking, it's put on a little around the middle.

By "extenders" do you mean vinyl or rubber? Or chemical?

I'll bet he's playing a show right now with Country Dick Montana.

It sounds like he had a helluva ride during his lifetime. Rest in peace Jack Snipes.
