Nice of his bank to give him some interest.

Wait, they don't...????

Go ahead and get on the cart. Don't be such a baby!

I'm getting better. I think I'll go for a walk.

A transposed number on a guvmint death notification form can be a nightmare and almost impossible to undo. CBS interviewed a lady who was a victim of this and carries a government generated letter, updated monthly, attesting that she is indeed really alive and often has to show it to people actually in her presence.

Don't believe your lying eyes.

I'm getting better.
No you're not, you'll be stone dead in a moment.

Abe Vigoda is alive.

Patience. The bank will eventually be correct.

*smacks Hammie*

My friend the Tong Lord says Capital One still thinks his father is alive. Guess that's one species of immortality...

Is his name Generalissimo Francisco Franco?

Free casket with $ 2,000 deposit.

I guess if he wants to vote he'll have to move to Chicago. Or maybe Massachusetts.

Take a hint!

It's just as hard to prove to a bank that someone is dead. Bank of America insisted on an original death certificate for my stepfather in order to remove him from an account. He would have been 110 at the time, and had died at 82.
