BRILLIANT

A worker who lit a match to check if gas was coming out of a fuel line in a science classroom sparked the blast that destroyed part of a Bronx school Thursday night, officials suspect.

Yeah, this brainiac definitely is Darwin Award material. Unfortunately for the kids, school will open on time.

Confirmed.

Education! It's not just for students!

Bunsen burner PALLLLLOOOOZZZAAAA!!!!!

Insightful leadership quote of the day so far...

"I do believe that this was a mistake," Mayor Bill de Blasio told 1010 WINS Friday afternoon. "It does not appear that was something that should have been done."

Sometimes life happens and it's comedy. Sometimes comedy happens and it's life. Sometimes stupidity actually astounds you.

This is one of those times.

This worker's stupidity just blows me away.

I had an old flame back in high school, but never like this!

How does this guy check if a gun is loaded - point it at his foot and pull the trigger?

reminds me of the old limerick

A decrepit old gas man named Peter
Went out to examine the meter.
He touched off his light
And rose out of sight
And, as you can plainly tell just from reading this, he utterly and completely destroyed the meter.

Was he also holding a beer?
