I used to live across the street from the DC Zoo, and I would grab a coffee on sun morn early and stroll down to the panther/cougar cages [full ht mtl] and sit with the kitties. I NEVER wanted to get in and pet them. The shear muscle on them is astounding, they are killing machines..
