You know, if that dentist who killed a lion had killed a drone instead, he might be hailed a hero. At least the world would not be upset at all with him!

so what if one lauched another drone and forced the offender to the ground.
Maybe hold it for ransom...

Unless there is a specific local law, in the U.S. you don't own the airspace over your house any more than you own the parking space on a public road in front of it. You may not like it, but if you make yourself visible to the public from any direction expect to be seen. What do you think the NSA pervs do all day with their satellites? Europeans have greater privacy rights.

I may not own the space, but I'll damned well own the broken drone once it falls down on my lawn.

Invasion of privacy

My boss drones on constantly, but I'm often the one that gets shot down....

But they weren't looking at the teenage girl that was sunbathing! They were looking at the house next door! Try again fellas. I would have shot down your drone too.
