Man drives down US 1 in Florida with missile; no one blinks an eye

Key Only-in-Miami Element: Madden, who owns the public relations agency TransMedia, got the missile from an elderly widow who lives in Miami.

Driving at only 35 mph would mean that the missile would not be able to achieve escape velocity and therefore would pose no threat to anyone who did not bang on its business end with a hammer. He needed to drive at what, oh, maybe 2,000 mph to pose any sort of threat.....Can't do that on Route 1- too many traffic lights....

Someone should write a humorous novel about wacky, stupid criminals who gain access to a nuclear missile in Miami! Maybe throw in a former newspaperman who's now a struggling advertising guy?

He should have used public transportation.

If you have to drive a missle around showing it off,

I have to think it is because you are compensating for

I'm with Frank. I think he got it from two Russians in a seedy bar.

So I guess Florida is not an open carry state?

She only flew it to church on Sundays.

You can have my missile when you pry it from my cold, dead, hands.

Which is an ironic comment about gun control, not about my watching too much porn.

Is that a missile in the passenger seat of your convertible or are you just happy to see me?
