That reminds me: I miss John Belushi.

Stick 'em with the pointy end.

I thought they were supposed to check them at the check-in desk....

I suppose we could blame their Convention and Vistors Bureau, for advertising that Pirates and Swashbucklers are always welcome there....

A bumping into in the bathroom led men to cross swords. I had a different form of ridiculous guy behavior in mind.

Paging Errol Flynn...

funny, I suppose the Sword Check Clerk had stepped away momentarily. (or had been cut down to size)

And since no one has said it yet:
Is that a sword that just bumped into me or are you just happy to .. etc.

"I admit it. You are better than me."
"Then why are you smiling?"
"Because I know something you don't know. I am not left handed!"

What happens in Dubai stays in Dubai.

What happens in Dubai stays in Dubai.

And while I'm here (and be nice, my friends), if citizens of Saudi Arabia are Saudis, just what does one call a citizen of the United Arab Emirates? 'You-Ay-Ees'? I don't think they're all emirs, so maybe 'Subjects'?

Some countries need to adopt the American style men's room etiquette of keeping your sword out of sight and staring at the wall in front of you so that you don't accidentally see some other man's sword. When a stranger pulls out their sword in the men's room, I never know how to respond. Is it someone who hangs around men's rooms flashing their sword at little kids? Is it just someone fooling around and I'm expected to whip mine out and engage lighthearted swordplay?

Who knows what a wide stance would have led to. RPGs at 20 paces?

Such choices! Cutty Sark or Cutty Throat?

Sorry, but I had to take a stab at this...

'...you call *That* a Knife' ??
