The only device I would call "a handheld snow blower" is an electric "power shovel," which is useless for more than a few inches of snow. I can understand her frustration. In a blizzard, it's much more effective as a weapon.

Clearly justified if the assaultee was trying to steal her parking space. It's legal to shoot someone for that offense after a snowstorm in Massachusetts.
