Never been sued.
But if I were, I'd pay him to represent the guy suing me.

The only thing wrong with the story is that the client was named Cheatem rather than the lawyer.

My brother was a prosecutor in the poorest county in IN. They were trying a rather vicious guy who had beat up and left for dead a visiting woman professeur. The miscreant had in my brothers words: "the worlds worst lawyer" (court appointed). He told the lout to throw himself on the mercy of the court. The judge, known as a hangman judge, gave the guy 450 years in prison. He'll be eligible for parole in about 200 years.

We will take this case.
