Squirrel brains are overlooked delicacy

And I, for one, intend to continue overlooking them.

They are featured prominently in Granny Clampett's Best Recipes.

No thanks, I don't want my brain to be (further) ruined.


In the last four years, 11 cases of a human form of transmissible spongiform encephalopathy, called Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease, have been diagnosed in rural western Kentucky, ..."All of them were squirrel-brain eaters,"

I'll stick to smoking crawdads, y'all.

Next we go after the raccoons.

My MIL was eating hog brains fried up with eggs and doing her best to get me to eat it as a healthy food and good for you, real "brain food" if you will.
It was only when I told her she was about to remove eggs from my diet that she stopped.

Because they're overlooked, nobody has seen Squirrel Brains opening for anybody.

Words never before placed in this sequence: "When you dress your squirrel . . ."
