Road workers smash 1,000-year-old monument

Something is rotten in the state of Denmark. Now that my imagination has been pricked I'll get on the ball and follow this story. I know it's hard, and there is the drawback of not knowing more about this pillar of the local community.

Who knows how to make a cast?

The town fathers should put a rubber sheath on the remaining stones for protection.

What goes up must come down-town.

There is a certain part of the construction industry that gets off on tearing down/up stuff. They don't hang around to be part of the new stuff being built. They just move on to the next place to tear up, or down.
