Takes a licking and keeps on ticking.

O my America, my Newfoundland.

It must be a watch dog....

Geezer bus tickets for everyone who remembers John Cameron Swayze for Timex....

But was the dog ticked off?

"Drinking up time" for a retiree? How does one set an alarm to ring nonstop 24 hours a day?

Talk about your Swiss movement.

coughed it up ?

eek - sloppy seconds

Good thing it wasn't a digital watch.

Even a sleeping dog is right twice a day.

*snags seat on Geezer Bus next to PB*

"It must be a watch dog...."

See if it winds itself up by turning around a few times as it lies down?

With time, this too shall pass.

'There's NO time, dammit!

What time is it? It's time to get a new watch...or maybe it's time to get a new dog.

What time is 22:55 in Newfoundland Dog Time?

I would love to have seen this as a plot twist with the Harrison Lesser Watch in "Only Fools and Horses."

That said, I've already forgotten the dog's name, but his stomach sure rings a bell.

MOTW: Welcome back!!!

Yep, PB, this would be a great follow-on. "Takes a swallowin' and keeps on ...". Hmmm... Ok, maybe not.

Some dogs have fleas; this one has ticks.

Not sure I want to know where his snooze button is.
