Looks to me like he drives at least as well as most Florida drivers.

charged with grand theft of an item worth more than $100,000, felony criminal mischief and additional crimes.
No moving violations?

Apparently the kid is a better driver than the folks who actually get paid to operate the buses!

I feel for the boy's mama. It's a shame that at just twelve, he's being slapped with a felony. The justice system will not be kind nor have rehabilitative effect on such a kid. He needs someone to channel his energy, mentor him, and engage his mind. I pray that he will get that kind of attention rather than a life of legal problems.

I trust that the "charges" will be dropped in exchange for a sound spanking from his parents. By the time he's old enough to write to this blog, it'll be the highlight of his life!

The kid drives much too well to drive in Florida.

When police contacted Propst's mother, she asked police to reason with the boy because "she was not having any impact on him."

I believe the kind of "impact" needed is no longer legal.

One thing about Florida is they name names.
In Kentucky, it would be, "unnamed because he is a juvenile".
In Florida, they just put it out there. If my grandson gets in trouble, I'll read about it in the papers.

I think that they're only sending him a permit, Dave.
