Escaped water buffalo run loose in Sydney, trample azaleas

(Thanks to wiredog [who says "Not the azaleas!"] and Janice Gelb)

Everybody’s got a water buffalo
Yours is fast but mine is slow
Oh, where we’d get them I don’t know
But everybody’s got a water buffalo-o-o-oooooo

So ... the critters ran the gamut of emotionally disturbedness from A to Zaleas ...

This is the kind of bull that passes for news in the Wash Post. Sad.

Loudmouth, there were actually TWO buffalo. According to the article, they jogged, frolicked, and darted in (and out!) of traffic.

"A Royal Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals representative told the Herald that the company filming the commercial that featured the buffaloes did not have an animal welfare officer present during filming, a standard practice."

So you're saying the Post had more bull than usual.

jeez, I thought aussies were manly and tough. no one ran out and mounted them and... rode them home... you call that a knife.

I've always heard that Azalea was a beautiful place.
My sympathies to the injured.

My azaleas bloomed on my porch today. But there weren't any water buffalo; where do I complain?
