This law should be in place for Florida.
I admit to being part of the problem with snow on the vehicles in Illinois. If the snow is light, I let the wind take care of the problem.

I was composing a variant of the classic Rodeo Song by Gary Lee and the Showdown for this but I realized that I shouldn't mess with perfection.

Simple solution for the truckers ... park the unit until the snow melts ...
When the parking lots are full, and the big box stores run out of TVs and coffee pots because the delivery has been "delayed by weather conditions" ... then the public will start to scream, and some common sense application to the rules can be employed ...
Sorry this is not amusin' ... but such is life ...

It has to get done, people. You see the car in the photo.... These fools chisel out a 10" square from the windshield and hop into the car, a danger to themselves and others... headlights, everything. When it's still snowing you've got enough trouble seeing other cars.... One time I did leave the roof zone, and the first time I hit the breaks... oops.
