If you are a woman who's been bitten by a cat, there's nearly a 50 percent chance that you will be diagnosed with depression at some point, the study suggests.
This is especially true if you're a single woman that shares their home with more than 15 cats. In that situation I'm not sure they even have to bite you.

Biting a cat is also depressing, since it's difficult to get their fur out of your teeth. And their claws out of your eyeballs.

More than an inch of cat hair on the carpet can also be depressing.

A cat may also find a link between biting and getting drop-kicked.

It's also possible that depressed people act in a way that makes cats more likely to bite them.... no, that's the anger-managementally challenged.

Of course, 50% of people who haven't been bitten by a cat get depressed, too. Cat fanciers hold that the number is even higher.

You're probably more likely to get toxoplasmosis from undercooked beef than from a cat.
