NOW WITH ADDED PROTEIN

A lunch break Monday turned into an urban Wild Kingdom surprise when a woman found a dead frog in the albacore tuna Niçoise salad that she was served at a Midtown Pret A Manger.

Good thing she didn't eat it. She might have croaked...

Toadally. I wouldn't know wart to do.

From an old limerick:

Said the waiter don't shout
And wave it about
Or the rest will be wanting one too.

a french salad ?

seems it tastes a tad polish

I'll just have a salad cracker.

It wasn't a manger but it was certainly pret.

Picky picky picky.

I'm so proud - first time Dave has used the subject line of my email on something I sent in!

"While Marlin remained stationary at the table, in case another appeared, Jim slowly worked his way back to the kitchen..."

When I was a PirateKid, we had to watch Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom every time it was on. But even then, I always felt that Jim always got the fuzzy end of the lollypop stick.

Crunchy Frog! Heap good!

Kermie!!!

PirateBoy - we watched too, and I agree - Jim needed a better agent. I remember the anaconda episode - Marlin is blathering on, while Jim is being dragged underwater by a freaking huge snake.

Pate de frog whaaaa...?

It is a Frenchie Place, they are lucky they did not get charged extra. Whimps!

This is unacceptable -- the frog should have been live if it was fresh.

she could have eaten just its legs...
