The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said that as much as 12 percent of imported spices were contaminated with “filth,” such as salmonella, insect, excrement and hair over a three-year period.

You can imagine how disappointed I was to discover my jar of Insect and Excrement Blend was only 12 percent authentic.

How did they know the hair was from a 3 year period? Maybe it was fresh hair.

Is it too soon to blame Obamacare for this?


Only if you want a black SUV parked in front of your house and the IRS doing a colonoscopy on your taxes going back to your paper route in middle school.

Otherwise, you are fine

And the so-called U.N. does nothing.

The FDA has acceptable :defect levels" for various foods. Many spices are allowed to have a 5% level, but not 12%. How comforting.
