Come on it HAS to be West Virginia, but wait. Most cars there are up on blocks, Nevermind.

$4.59 for a pack of Marlboros, hmm either West Virgina or an old photo.

Why does it ALWAYS seem to be a beige Camry?

Don't believe a word of it.
15 minutes from my house, the prices are all wrong, and it's the (former) St. Petersburg Times. Now known as the Tampa Bay Times, they may be Pulitzer-winning, butt they are notoriously inaccurate. They are the source of that nonsense called "Politifact". There are many reasons this story strikes me as bogus, including the prices for goods in the photo; I live within 15 minutes of that location and would drive that distance to save %30 on my purchases; my local grocery store is almost that far. This story smells, to me.

When I was that age, I nearly made my parents' church have a drive-through baptismal font.
