Mighty shoddy reporting by Wired, even considering it's wired.co.uk. "Defense Advanced Research Laboratory" working with bees? No. It's the US "Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency". Wired even linked to its own article referencing "Darpa [sic] in the US".
